1. App Publishing Support
The Tuitionist provides comprehensive App Publishing Support for our SME clients whose apps are published on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including publishing, ongoing support, and compliance with store policies.
1.1 App Publishing Process
- Initial Setup: Apps are published under The Tuitionist’s account to simplify distribution and management.
- Brand Customization: Full branding per client specifications, including logos, colors, and business-specific features.
- App Store Compliance: Ensures compliance with all Google Play Store and Apple App Store policies, privacy requirements, and security protocols.
- App Testing & Approval: Rigorous pre-publishing testing ensures compatibility and optimal performance.
1.2 Ongoing App Support
Once the app is live, The Tuitionist provides:
- App Updates: Regular updates for bug fixes, OS compatibility, and new features.
- Technical Support: Dedicated support for crashes, bugs, or user issues.
- Compliance Monitoring: Continuous monitoring of app stores for policy compliance.
- Service Level Agreements (SLA): Critical issues resolved within 24 hours. Non-critical issues handled within 3-5 business days.
1.3 App Performance Monitoring
- Crash reports and error logs.
- User activity analytics (usage frequency, session duration).
- Performance benchmarks (loading speed, responsiveness).
- Proactive issue resolution to maintain optimal user experience.
1.4 Third-Party Integrations
- Support for integrations with payment gateways, CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, etc.
- Responsibility for integration failures lies with the third-party provider; The Tuitionist ensures correct setup and functionality.
1.5 Updates & New Features
- Feature additions and customizations are planned in consultation with clients.
- New features may incur additional fees depending on complexity.
- The Tuitionist handles development, testing, and resubmission to app stores.
1.6 Legal Compliance & Accessibility
- Apps comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations.
- Accessibility features are included where applicable (screen reader support, color contrast, WCAG compliance).
1.7 Force Majeure / Unexpected Circumstances
- Neither The Tuitionist nor the client is liable for delays or service disruption caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, server outages, government action).
- Reasonable mitigation efforts will be made in such circumstances.
1.8 Termination of Services
- Termination by Client: Allowed per contract terms; outstanding fees may apply.
- Termination by The Tuitionist: For non-payment, violation of terms, or app store non-compliance.
- Early Termination Fees: May apply depending on contract agreements.
- Contract Renewal: Automatic renewal unless either party gives 60 days’ notice before expiry.
1.9 Intellectual Property & App Customizations
- Customizations: Any changes made to the app (features, design) remain the property of The Tuitionist unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
- Ownership: The SME owns the final branded app, but underlying source code remains The Tuitionist’s property unless transferred by agreement.
- Code Transfers: Clients may request code transfer upon contract termination, subject to licensing agreements.
